Professor B. Ravindran is a leading AI researcher at IIT Madras, where he heads the Department of Data Science and Artificial Intelligence, the Wadhwani School of Data Science and AI, the Robert Bosch Centre for Data Science & AI (RBCDSAI), and the Centre for Responsible AI (CeRAI). His research spans reinforcement learning and geometric deep learning, with a focus on learning through interactions and ensuring AI is fair, transparent, and socially responsible. A PhD from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst, and alumnus of IISc Bangalore, he is an AAAI Fellow, INAE Fellow, and ACM Distinguished Member.
